About Me
I have been painting all my life. I love to express the beauty I see around me through trying to capture it in paintings. So much love has gone into every painting and I hope you feel the happiness reflected back at you!
I often explore the connections between the sky and landscape. I prefer to add my own perspective rather than paint in a predictable way. I like to try and capture those hazy moments we all remember whilst sat outside in nature. I paint with passion and enthusiasm and I like to be led with my mood and with colours that please me.
It has always been my ambition to paint affordable art because everyone deserves to have at least one original painting on their wall. Most of my work is in acrylics (a self-taught medium) but I also love watercolours and was taught by a fantastic Cornish artist when I was a teenager. Although I mainly paint sea and landscapes, I have been commissioned to paint children, dogs, boats and even combine harvesters so I am happy to experiment!
